I drew them on my iPad in an app called Procreate. I then emailed them to my laptop where I coloured it in! I could create a tutorial if you want?

Oh cool! I don't have an iPad, or a tablet for that matter. I'll stick with my Wacom and photoshop :p

That's fine, the same technique can be applied. I colour on GIMP.
